Malta Utility Bill Calculator
Calculate and understand your utility bills as issued by Water Services and Enemalta!

If you are having difficulties activating your copy of the Malta Utility Bill Calculator™ then you should probably find this post helpful. If you have already extended your trial period from 7 days to 15 days, then you probably already know how product activation works. If you haven't, then it's still a straightforward process.

  1. Start the program (Start->All Programs->Malta Utility Bill Calculator->Malta Utility Bill Calculator);
  2. Click on the "tab" called "Activation". You will get a screen where you can enter your license key, your full name and e-mail address;
  3. Enter the license key we sent you via e-mail when you purchased the product next to License Key, and type in your name and e-mail address;
  4. Finally click Activate.

You can also use the "DEMO" license key to extend your trial period if you are evaluating the product. The regular trial period is 7 days, but we provide the opportunity to extend this to 15 days by activating the product for an extended trial. Just enter the word "DEMO" where you have License Key, enter your full name and e-mail address, and click Activate.

Troubleshooting: If you are experiencing activation problems, check out the error message you are being shown. If you are experiencing a "network error", make sure your computer is connected to the Internet, and that you can browse the Internet via Internet Explorer (we explicitly state Internet Explorer since if you are running behind a proxy server, the program will use the proxy server settings from Internet explorer - if you don't know what a proxy server is, don't worry, you probably aren't using any). If you still have trouble, get in touch with us by sending us an email on support@progsomnia.com. Keep in mind that you can only activate your copy from one computer only. Once you use a license key on a particular computer, it will not be possible to use the same license key on a different computer.

No Activation Tab: When you activate your product, the Activation tab will be removed, since you won't be needing it anymore. However, if you would like to reactivate your product, you may get back the Activation tab by first clicking on the "About" tab, and then click the button "Reactivate Product". The "About" tab also shows information about your license, including the expiry date of your maintenance agreement (which is one year from the day of first activation).
