Just hours after the Government of Malta announced the new water and electricity tariffs applicable as from 1 January 2010, a new version of the Malta Utility Bill Calculator was released with the updated rates (applicable for periods after 1 January 2010). Of course, the older rates are still supported for periods before 1 January 2010. Due to the short timespan involved between the announcement and the release, the new version, version 3.0.0, has been released to the public as a beta build, which means that it might still contain some development bugs. An official publication of the update will then be released in the second week of January.
