Upgrading Your Edition

If you have already purchased a license key for the Malta Utility Bill Calculator™ and you would like to upgrade it to a Commercial or an Industrial Edition, you've come to the right place! You can upgrade your current license, and it will only cost the difference in price between editions.

Do you have your username and password?

When you purchased your copy of the Malta Utility Bill Calculator™, we sent you a login name and a password to login to the Customers Area. By logging into the Customers Area first, you will not be required to re-enter your details, and your purchase will be registered under the same account. To purchase an upgrade from your customer account, follow the instructions below:

1. Visit our upgrade selection page by first logging into the Customers Area by clicking here - you will be automatically redirected to our shopping cart;
2. Select 'Upgrade an existing license key';
3. Enter your license key in the space provided;
4. Select your current edition, e.g. if you currently have the Residential Edition, select "Malta Utility Bill Calculator Residential Edition";
5. Select your upgrade code as follows:
   • MYBILL-R2C: If you want to upgrade your Residential Edition to a Commercial Edition;
   • MYBILL-R2I: If you want to upgrade your Residential Edition to an Industrial Edition;
   • MYBILL-C2I: If you want to upgrade your Commercial Edition to an Industrial Edition;
6. Click Buy and checkout.

Have you lost your username and password?

Not to worry! You can either:

• Reset your username and password by clicking here: Reset Password (you will need to know your e-mail address or at least your username);
• OR issue a purchase without logging in (this will create a new account for you). To do this, enter your license key below and choose one of the upgrade options:
  • Enter your current license key:
  • I would like to:
    • Upgrade my Residential Edition to a Commercial Edition - €10
    • Upgrade my Residential Edition to an Industrial Edition - €15
    • Upgrade my Commercial Edition to an Industrial Edition - €5

Reactivating your product

When you place an order for an upgrade, you will receive the same license key you already have by e-mail. This is because you will be using your original license key to reactivate your product. You MUST reactivate your product to finish the upgrade process, since this is the only way the product would "know" that the license has been upgraded.

To reactive your product:

• Start the program by clicking the shortcut "Malta Utility Bill Calculator" on your desktop or Start menu;
• Since you would have, most probably, activated the product in the past, the "Activation" screen will be hidden:
  1. Click on the "About" tab;
  2. Click on "Reactivate Product" - this will take you to the Activation screen;
  3. Click "Activate" button.
• If this is the first time you are activating (not likely), then you can just visit the Activation screen, enter your license key and click the "Activate" button.
